We live in a world and in a society in which freedom to think and express ourselves is emphasized most of the time. I definitely think that this is something that intends to encourage us to be unique and different from the rest, and one great thing to do is to learn about each other.

Learning about each other involves tolerance and respect.

I don´t think it´s a matter of "preferring" but it´s also a matter of wanting to know, to learn. I have learned so much from people that do not share the same beliefs that I have, or that simply that don´t think the way I think.
When I don´t share the same perspectives in life, I try to learn to see life from different perspectives. Try to understand why those people would think that way; this at the same time, has also helped me reassure myself in my own perspective of life.
