Personally, I have never had a signifigant other so I don't know what it is like to have to worry about public display of affection or PDA.

I think it's cute when couples, friends, or family show the world that they care and love each other. I don't see anything wrong with simple PDA such as holding hands, hug, or a quick kiss. It is when it goes beyond this that you need to go seek privacy.

To answer the second part of the DQ, I believe perhaps publicizing your affection could make it seem less intimate in a way.

Here is a thought: how has the media affected the way the world views public affection?

On a side note, I am still confused about how we label our posts.
