Language and Relationships

What the book says:
That if you say that "you and i have a relationship" what it it really saying is that. it how well you get along with that person and that it is a more simple description. But on the back side of that it can also be challenged  by the person that you are saying you have relationship with. By them saying "just what kind of relationship do u think we have," in this way it is challenge.


My two cents:
It all depends on the person and in what concept they are talking about. There is such a wide variety of meanings to the word relationship. It can be anywhere from just friend, to being married, and even the relationship that you have with you parents and siblings. So it really depends on what context you are talking about when you say it.
