Although I have friends here, for the purpose of this question, I'll just think about my family and friends back at home. Being this far away from home, social media and telecommunications play a major role in the way I relate with my friends. I can find the support, the love, the companionship of my friends with a simple message of Facebook. It is true that a hug or a hand shake is way better than pressing the enter key of my keyboard. But due to my circumstances, I depend, and I couldn't ask for a better way to communicate with my friends, than using materialist tools such as telephone or internet.

Do I ever wish I didn't have to use these tools? well, thanks God I have friends from different countries, so I am thankful that I can use these tools to communicate with them.
