Personality:
a. The sum total of the physical, mental, emotional, and social characteristics of an individual.
b. The organized pattern of behavioral characteristics of the individual.

Now that we have read the definition for personality, we can ask ourselves, "What is personality NOT important in relationships?"  The There are definitely many aspects that we must take into account whenever we are involved in any sort of relationship. But if we understand our own personality, who we are and why we are that way... we will understand others better, which will contribute to the betterment of our relationship with them. Definitely the Western culture promotes a great deal on the self-satisfaction and self-development; and personality has a lot to do with both of them.
