One of the story's that I heard about a little at a time was the story on the death of power ranger's actor Tommy. Tommy supposedly died in a car accident then it said that he was not dead but in critical care, then it said that Tommy would be paralyzed from the waist down. Later on it said that Tommy would have had broken three bones. So yeah sometimes telling stories before you get all the facts can be a very bad thing and cause a very big issue. Luckily Tommy was just barely wounded and he was not in intensive care but this story got out of hand quickly. So yes I do believe that the media does release things at bad times and it can have a negative impact.
