I strongly think that whatever you do will demonstrate who you are. If you proclaim yourself as someone that is living a life according to certain norms or rules, then you have to act according to those norms or rules. Portraying an image to people of who you are implies more than just words. Of course, you are entitle to do whatever you want to do but, if you want to maintain an image in front of society, it is important to be consistent and coherent with your actions and your words.
