I think earliest memories are very connected with people's personality in most of times.
The way that you were educated and corrected when you were a child, it's going to be demostrated in your adult life. Is unwitting, you will show what you got.
Of course, there are exceptions. Some people are very mature, and they try to change some bad things that they learned from their childhood. But, it is because they have learned through the years that kind of stuff will not help them at all.
