Dr. House migh be a grouchy, insecure, arrogant, insensitive person and a giften physician; but I think that most of this, he is a very honest, direct and not-fake man.

I don´t think he is a bad person, I just think that sometimes he might just not measure his honesty and turn it into a very rude criticism. And I think that his honesty is something that people like to watch, there is so much lack of sincerity and "directness" in people´s relationships now. So watching something that shows that there are still people who are real and honest, demonstrates that people have not completely lost the capacity to do it.  Plus, the medical cases that the show are absolutely interesting that nobody should simply miss that! ; )
