i do not believe we are prisoners of our own past, as humans we have the ability to change any aspect of our life's, change the bad and remember the good and use those. i do not think every relationship of the same sort will bring out the same experiences, as time goes, people mature, and mindsets change. so your views on relationships, and the things you get out of it will be different.
How has your experiences changed from one relationship to another?

I agree as we grow older our mindset does change. Our brain fully develops at age 25 so our brain is steadily processing different processes to different situations throughout life. Our experiences will usually not be the same
