The way we are treated when we are infants can have a huge part of our life growing up but i honestly don't think we can be prisoners of our past. You may have a few problems developing socially or in other ways but your past does not determine your future it only defines where you have been and what you have gone through. Change is not impossible trust me. I have been through a lot in my life but i don't let that hold me back from pushing myself in a positive way to succeed in whatever i do everyday. We are usually attached to somebody that we love but the theory that we will always have the same kind of experiences sounds dumb to me. My romantic attachments have never been the same and i'm glad they weren't.  I try not to look backwards into the past but sometimes i find myself doing that so i usually pray that i can let it go.
